For those of you who are unaware of this term, ‘slut shaming’ is the criticism of women for their presumed or known sexual activity and choices. For generations, the terms ‘slut’, ‘slag’ and words surrounding the same meaning have been used both abusively and casually. My belief is that we should scrap the words all together.
If you strip back all the constructed ways of life that society sets down for us, no human of any gender or sex has any obligation to follow a strict pattern of sexual activity.
This small reminder is one that says this- I don’t care if you’re a man or a woman, you can’t tell others how to live their lives. I see girls calling each other sluts far too often and it pains me to think that they believe sexual freedom to be a negative trait.
Chill out and concentrate on yourself. If you find the need to criticise others so much, you must need to reconsider what you really like about yourself, bringing others down only highlights your own flaws.
It’s one of the biggest problems we face when we talk of women empowerment. Male dominance considers a man who has lots of sex, some kind of hero. Stupid double standards.

I completely agree. It is infuriating to see men glorified for their high sex drives and yet as soon as a woman so much as breathes the word sex she’s immediately condemned. Oppressed for fear of our sexuality.

I am thinking of something good to say…
Well I found nothing. You said it. The solution in my opinion is that more people should talk about sex. In many countries Sex Education is not an option. That’s very unfortunate.
